NZOIA SUGAR FC DOWNS BIDCO UNITED, RETURNING TO WINNING WAYS

By Ibrahim Adolwa.

Nzoia Sugar FC returned to winning ways following their 2-1 victory over Bidco United in a match played at Thika Stadium on Sunday 11th February 2023.
A brace from Daniel Simiyu in the 11th and 46th minute were enough to seal the precious victory, despite Bidco having equalized in the 22nd minute through David Mokaya.
The victory was the first one in five matches and the first one this year, the last triumph being a 2-1 win against Bankers KCB way back before last Christmas.
The win comes in coach Steve Biko’s second match in charge since taking over the reins from Solomon Oduor, his first match being a 1-0 home defeat against Pasta Rangers.
Nzoia has so far played 21 matches, winning four, drawing a further four and losing the remaining 13 matches.
Nzoia takes on coast-based outfit Bandari in the next round of fixtures slated on Saturday 17th February at Sudi Stadium, aiming to garner more points hence improve their position on the league standings.
