NSC BOARD MEETS STAFF AND UNVEILS NEW ACTING MD IN CORPORATE PRAYER DAY

Nzoia Sugar Company Board of Directors, Management and staff held a corporate prayer day on Tuesday 9th May 2023 at the Training Center.
During the event, the Chairman of the Board, took the opportunity to unveil the new acting Managing Director of Nzoia Sugar Company, Mr. Ezron Kotut and bid farewell to the outgoing acting Managing Director Dr. Chrispine Omondi.
Speaking at the event, Board Chair Hon. Alfred Khang’ati appreciated the achievements of the outgoing Managing Director, tenure and referred to him as a competent leader with the zeal to work and a unique eye for details.
The Chairman further revealed that as a Board, they had unanimously settled on CPA Kotut, who until his appointment, was the Finance Manager, to take the reins of power, albeit for a period of three months as the process of searching for a new MD picks up in earnest.
“We have confidence in Mr. Kotut and we believe he is up to the task. We would like to urge the management and staff to support him as he discharges his new duties.” stated the Chairman.
The incoming MD CPA Kotut on his part, accepted the mandate he had been tasked with, promising to steer the company to even greater heights.
Dr. Omondi, the outgoing MD, thanked the Nzoia fraternity for working together with him during some of the most challenging times and congratulated Mr. Kotut on his appointment.
Director Bishop Patrice Chumba presided over the Sermon and prayer sessions, as Bishop George Wafula from the Anglican Church of Kenya, Bungoma diocese, delivered the sermon of the day. Bishops and Pastors from Nzoia, led by Bishop Gerishom Kololi were given special slots to pray for the Company.
Bishop Mechumo, flanked by other members of the cloth, made special prayers to various groups of leaders, among them, the outgoing MD, the incoming MD, the entire Board members led by the Chairman, workers’ union leader, Bernard Yaola and Nzoia FC Chairman, Evance Kadenge among others.
