 NZOIA SUGAR FC SIGNS NEW HEAD COACH

Nzoia Sugar Football Club has appointed Mr. Salim Babu as the new Head Coach to steer the club off the relegation zone that has been threatening the team owing to a string of average performances since the start of the season.

 Salim Babu penned his contract, in an unveiling ceremony held at the Company premises graced by the Nzoia Sugar FC Chairman Mr. Kadenge, Mr. Maxwell Munyao (Club Treasurer), Mr. Anthony Fungututi (Club Secretary General) and Mr. Jacob Khisa (Vice chairman).

Mr. Kadenge, in his opening speech, termed the Coach’s arrival as “Mwanzo wa mwaka mpya” and asked for maximum co-operation from the technical bench and the entire playing unit stating that unity of purpose is the key towards steering the team forward. The Coach expressed his gratitude for the warm welcome and the great opportunity stating that he will give his new appointment his best shot.

 

Babu who is expected to start his coaching task on Monday 31st at the club’s training grounds at Sudi Stadium, succeeded Mr. Ibrahim Shikanda who left the club in December last year (2021)
