NZOIA SUGAR LAUNCHES NZOIA IMARA APP FOR ONLINE SUGAR SALES
E-commerce is the buying and selling of goods and services, or the transmitting of funds or date, over an electronic network, primarily the internet.
In this day and age, consumers want the freedom to purchase goods and services anytime and from anywhere, even on the go. This can be attested to by the increase in online shoppers. Consumers prefer mobile E-commerce applications to websites, since they offer advanced speed, convenience and adaptability.
This is the realization that prompted NSC to launch the Nzoia Imara App.
What is Nzoia Imara App?
Nzoia Imara App is a Software Application which enables our customers to purchase Nzoia Sugar Company products from the comfort of their homes and offices.
The Application can be downloaded from the Google Play store or Apple store.
How to use the Nzoia Imara App
- Download Nzoia Imara App from Google PlayStore, Install and open.
- You can register as a customer or skip this step
- Go to Products
- Select the product that you need
- Select Quantity
- Add to Cart
- Check out
- Confirm the order details
- Provide Name and phone number for use in M-Pesa transaction
- Choose payment method. For M-Pesa Payment:
- Go to M-Pesa Menu
- Select Lipa na M-Pesa
- Input 4020335 as the Business Number and enter the same phone number you provided in 9 above as the account number
- Wait for payment confirmation
- Choose Mode of Collection – whether self-collection or
- Conclude the process by confirming the order and wait for a confirmation SMS.
For self-collection the customer picks the product from venue, for delivery you choose the location and get connected to the next available boda – boda rider who will deliver your sugar to your preferred location.
Currently our delivery circle is limited to Bukembe, Sudi and Navakholo. However, plans are underway to spread this service further.
For door to door deliveries, the company has partnered with select boda boda operators through an app where they confirm availability and the customer then pays for the service and the boda boda picks the product for delivery.
NSC urges their customers to make use of the App and purchase sugar at the comfort of their homes.
