Kongoli Primary school organized a parents day and called on the company to enhance the good working relations experienced in the past.
The Assistant Public Relations Officer (APRO) Linus Kimeli who represented Nzoia Sugar company said that the school is critical in nurturing future employees and therefore need to support each other.
Pupils were urged to horn their understanding skills in order to compete effectively with neighbouring schools like Nzoia Primary and Nzoia Industrial Primary schools which have posted good performance over the years.
Kongoli primary school Head teacher Mr. Stanley Wasike assured parents and other stakeholders of better results in the forth coming Kenya Secondary of Primary Education (KCPE).
The school has requested the company to extend its corporate social responsibility support to the school and hence in turn good performance will be realized whenever necessary learning resources are availed to need pupils and the school in general.
Mr. Kimeli supported that fact that better results is the only way to better the lives of pupils coming out of the school and to advance their studies in High schools and institutions of higher learning in the Country. The school being mixed day has a population of 800 pupils and each class has two steams each.
Previously the Public Relations officers visited the Nzoia Primary School and plans to visit other schools as part of corporate social responsibility initiatives to support learning institutions in the neighbourhood.
